Interactive Manual

Good-to-know info before experimenting with the Interactive Manual:

  • The Interactive Manual intentionally has no "back" or "undo" button. This might seem frustrating at first, but it matches how the real device works: you only have that one button to interact with the device. However, you cannot get stuck in the UI. There is always a way to reach the state you want to be in.

  • The Opening Threshold you set is stored and affects how the virtual device behaves. In the "Show Soil Moisture" state, the configured Opening Threshold determines when the valve opens while using the slider to simulate the soil moisture sensor.

  • The Interactive Manual is not perfect yet. For example, the Additional Time setting currently has no practical effect on the virtual device. Also, in sleep mode, the device does not yet behave exactly like the real one. Error states and warnings are also not yet represented in the Interactive Manual.
